Avoid. Less than 1 star. Disgusting company with no morals or ethics. Nothing but thieves. Customer service is non-existent. Uncontactable weeks to get a reply and then just tell you what you want to hear then nothing happens again and again. Sooner they go bust the better. Not a charity at all just a tax dodge to line their own pockets.
Please stay away from this organisation. There is no customer service to speak of. No phone line. No online chat. No responses by email. I have been trying to freeze my Better Swim membership since last year to no avail. They are crooks - and will keep taking your money, when you want to cancel/freeze and will not respond. STAY AWAY.

I made a mistake booking my kids into swimming lessons. I rang up and the customer service lady Shirley was an excellent support and sorted it out quickly
I had what I thought was a very helpful web chat where I was assured my request would be actioned and that this would be confirmed via email, but here we are 10 days and follow up emails later and nothing seems to have been done. An extremely frustrating waste of my time.
Customer services are an absolute joke, not responding to emails about taking a direct debit without authorisation despite freezing my membership due to Covid. They still took the money out of my account and have continually refused to respond to emails requesting for it to be refunded. Disgusting behaviour, and will be taking my complaint further.

been a member for 5 years as a loyal customer, service is apalling downstairs at the office, I know alot of staff members in there and are well aquainted with them in the gym, but this month is my last month with this gym, im changing gyms because they have set now all these s*** rules "government guidelines" track and trace??? like seriously?? to just have a workout session you need to book first and you can only train for an hour, and you pay money to have a service like this, private gym may be a bit more but at least they dont have all these stupid controlling rules. also the toilets are not in use! theyve locked the toilets. if its all for a virus, why lock the toilets to limit the use of taps to wash your hands?? very stupid, doesnt make sense. this is the last month... too many uneccessary rules, it takes an effort to get to the gym with busy daily life, and now theyve made it harder to workout by having to book first to just use th gym, private gyms are not like this, i cant be bothered to go through this hassle, I also asked to cancel at the desk, they couldnt even do that.....
Only way to cancel is through their website, which either doesn’t work or they ignore so they can continue to charge you. I emailed several times and had no response from customer service, eventually got a reply from them which contained the link on their website to cancel membership and nothing else - clearly not even bothered to read my email explaining this wasn’t working. Tried tweeting them and they reply asking you to provide your membership details but again, no response after that.
Have now cancelled my direct debit, as i don’t see any other way to stop them taking money for something i’ve tried to cancel over 10 times via 3 different channels.... AVOID!!!!
I think this is a great gym and am disappointed the one closest to me (wadsley bridge, Sheffield) has had to permanently close due to Covid 19. It will be hard finding another one that is as good as this one was. I never had one bad experience from start to finish whilst here.
Hopeless. Their App and website don’t work properly particularly when trying to organise payment! They are so hopeless you would have thought this would be the one thing they may be able to do Better.
No customer service phone to ring so even simple issues aren’t resolved. Their email customer service doesn’t work well at all. Better should do a lot Better.
